RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE
SALE OF LIGHT POLE
TO DUST BOWL HISTORICAL FOUNDATION, INC.
A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION
FOR ONE DOLLAR ($1)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses a surplus light pole; and
WHEREAS, Dust Bowl Historical Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization,
desires to purchase the surplus light pole at a cost of one dollar; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a nonprofit organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated
herein by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell a surplus light
pole to Dust Bowl Historical Foundation, Inc. for one dollar ($1).
