1. Staff made a presentation to the Chamber GRC today on transportation
fees. The discussion also overlapped into the PG&E franchise renewal. C
of the TIF fees the Planning and Development Committee had another ses
on Tuesday. A stakeholder meeting will be held next week and the Commi
again the first week in September. We hope to bring the item before the Ci

2. The dry, sandy, Kern River bed through Bakersfield is set to receive a cool :
water over the up-coming holiday weekend, thanks to an arrangement invol

5. The Beach Skate Park expansion project will begin work next Wednesday
