The Governor is calling a special legislation session to deal with an $11 I A few weeks ago they thought the deficit was $3 billion. The time we h� not being "at risk" of legislative capture has been very short. As we have been conveying to you regularly, the economy is hitting us well. Revenues are declining while expenses continue to rise. Thus, a F cuts will include a hiring freeze, reductions in temporary employees, ovE and training, equipment replacement, etc. More serious Phase II cuts being studied. Phase I cuts will reduce our response times and ability to adjust to ne�n We will need to ask for your understanding on referrals and complaints. 3. We received very favorable bids this week on the Mohawk extension fro Rosedale -$20 million under the Engineer's estimate! We had planned phase to extend the Westside Parkway from Mohawk to Coffee with an al1 bids were favorable, to extend it to Calloway. In light of the Mohawk bid: confident we can get to Calloway. It was to have been an at grade inters we may be able to get the bridge and interchange ramps!
