PETITIONS TO REVISE THE DECLARATION OF FULLY APPROPRIATED STREAMS
LISTING OF THE KERN RIVER IN KERN COUNTY
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board), Division of Water Right:
(Division) has received five petitions requesting revision of the Kern River's status in Stat
Water Board Order WR 98-08, the Declaration of Fully Appropriated Streams (Declaratio
Based on information provided in the petitions, the Division has recommended to the Sta
Water Board that there is reasonable cause to conduct a hearing on the question of whe�
the Declaration should be modified for the Kern River stream system.
A public notice of any scheduled hearing regarding this matter will be distributed to intere
parties.
