This inspection is done to ensure compliance with the California Fire Code (2013 Edition) as a basic fire prevention inspection, and for familiarization with existing facilities and wells within the city limits of Bakersfield. Pursuant to Section 3.70.40 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code, an annual inspection fee of $96.00 will be charged. All active as well as inactive wells within city limits will be inspected. There will be no fee for wells that have been dismantled and are unable to pump. A call will be placed one week in advance to your office to notify you of our inspectors on your property and to ensure that your safety rules are followed.
