Re: Inspection of the facility located, at 2200 Brundage Lane, Bakersfield,
CA
An annual hazardous materials business plan and waste generator inspection
was completed on May 19, 2009 for your facility located at 2200 Brundage
Lane. Enclosed find a compiled a list of the violations within the facility that
need to be addresses. The items within the leased or soon to be leased areas
MUST BE COMPLETED BY JULY 1, 2009.
Ma=
1. Extension cords shall net be used as permanent wiring (CFC 605.5)
2. Cannot use surge protector to surge protector (CFC 605.5)
3. Clean items away from emergency exit (CBC 1003.3.4)
4. Front door requires "To Remain Unlocked During Business Hours"
(CBC 1008.1.8.3.2.2)
5. Need to develop a Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC)
plan for your facility (H &S 25270.5(c))
Oil Storage Area
1. Extension cords shall net be used as permanent wiring (CFC 605.5)
2. Replace missing j box covers (CFC 605.1)
3. Replace missing light bulbs (CFC 605.1)
4. Veeder -root monitor requires annual service sticker (CCR: 23; 16; 2638)
5. Secure loose electrical conduit to wall (CFC 605.1)
6. Oily rags nee to be stored in an approved container (CFC 304.3.1)

1. Replace missing cover on light standard (CFC 605.5)
2. Place start dates on waste absorbent (CCR: 23: 66262.34[a])
3. Cover waste absorbent container (CCR: 23: 66262.34[a] [1] [A])
4. Clean spilled waste oil around waste drums (H &S 25296.10[a])
5. Label waste drums accordingly (CCR: 23: 66262.34[fJ)
Waste OR Rack
1. Provide secondary containment for all totes to prevent additional leaking onto ground
2. Provide start dates on waste oil drip buckets (CCR: 23: 66262.34[a])
3. Pump out secondary containment for waste rack (CCR: 23: 66262.34[a])
4. Clean contaminated soil around green diesel tank (H &S 25296.10[a])
5. Provide visible label on green diesel tank (CCR: 23: 66262.34[f])
The Yard Area
1. All LPG tanks with LPG still remaining within them need to be located 20 feet away from
property lines (CFC Table 3809.12)
2. Provide secondary containment for all lube totes (CFC 2704.2.2.4)
3. Store all empty drums outside secondary containment area, as it reduces it's effectiveness to
contain a leaking tank.
4. Cover waste oil bucket adjacent to loading rack (CCR: 23: 66262.34[x] [1] [A])
5. Provide label for the above waste oil bucket (CCR: 23: 66262.34[f])
