The hearing will be open house format with City, Caltrans, and TRIP staff available to answer questions as wel public comment. Following the 30-day public review period, Caltrans and the project development team will respond to the individual comments and complete the final environmental document. Appr final environmental document is anticipated in fall 2012. Following approval, the project wo into final design and right-of-way would be acquired. Construction is expected to begin in fall The SR 178 Widening Project would widen the road from two to six lanes from just east Drive to Masterson Street, and from two to four lanes from Masterson Street to Miramonte 8-foot shoulders on both sides of the highway. Masterson Street, Alfred Harrell Highway, Drive and State Route 184 would be realigned and/or widened where they intersect State The estimated cost of construction would be approximately $30 million and would be fund the TRIP allocations secured by former Congressman William M. Thomas in the 2005 Transpc and local funding sources. This is the third TRIP project to complete all of the technical studies and documentation begin the public environmental review process, being preceded by the SR 178/Mor Interchange Project and the Rosedale Highway Widening Project. The Morning Drive Project in final design. The comment period for the Rosedale Highway Project has closed and TRIP is the final environmental document, which is expected to be completed this summer. To date, TRIP has completed construction of the SR 178/Fairfax Road Interchange, SR 99/7 Road Interchange, 7t" Standard Road Widening Project and grade separation at Santa Fe W Mohawk Street Extension. Approximately, five miles of freeway is currently under construc Westside Parkway, including the phases from Mohawk Street to Allen Road, the Truxtun Allen Road Interchange. Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Stockton, California, may take the first steps toward becoming the most populous U.S. city to file for bankruptcy next week because of burdensome employee costs, excessi` bookkeeping errors that misrepresented accounts, city officials said today. The Stockton City Council will meet Feb. 28 to consider a type of inediation that allows cr participate, the first move toward a Chapter 9 bankruptcy filing under a new state law.
