AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 17.04.245 TO THE
BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 17.04.245 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby added to
read as follows:
17.04.245 Food Vending Vehicle.
"Food vending vehicle" includes any vehicle as defined in the California
Vehicle Code, from which any type of food or beverage is sold or offered for
sale directly to any consumer; provided, however, that "food vending vehicle"
does not include a vehicle that only delivers food or beverage products
ordered by home delivery customers.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance is declared to be an emergency ordinance pursuant to
Sections 23 and 24 of the Charter of the City of Bakersfield and shall become
effective immediately upon its passage.
