RE: Status of clean-up of Bernard & Sons 4011 Jewett Avenue Bakersfield,
California.
Dear Mr. Ulmer;
A report was submitted to this office from HerSchy Environmental, Inc on January
26, 2007 recommending the development and sampling of monitoring wells that
were placed on the grounds of your facility. The analytical of the soils in both 2004
and 2007 did show high concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) for
diesel that needed to be addressed. To date we have not received any additional
reports from you or your contracted environmental company.
Please submit a status report of the contaminated soils clean-up process and any
work plans for additional clean-up or removal of the monitoring wells to this office
for review.
Sincerely; M.
