RE: 50kW Diesel Generator Aboveground Belly Tank (190 gallons)
Dear Mr. Wines,
On behalf of New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC dba AT &T Mobility (referred to herein as "AT &T "), General
Dynamics Wireless Services is submitting this letter to request a permit from the Bakersfield Fire
Department Fire Prevention Division for a proposed 190- gallon aboveground diesel fuel storage tank with
installation scheduled for 3rd Quarter of 2016. The tank will be an integral part of a 50 kW generator at 8201
Camino Media, Bakersfield, CA 93311.
The tank will store diesel fuel for a new 50 kW Generac emergency diesel generator to be installed at this
location. The tank will be a -belly tank and integral to the generator. It is UL -142 listed and has double -
walled containment (please refer to the generator specifications sheet included in Attachment 4).
We are requesting this permit so that tank installation may begin. Enclosed with this letter are the Billing &
Permit Statement, the Aboveground Storage Tank form, site layout plans, the generator and tank
specifications sheets, and the $180.00 permit fee. We appreciate the Bakersfield Fire Department Fire
Prevention Division's review of these documents.
