WHERE NEW ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT IS TO CONFORM TO EXISTING PAVED SURFACES THE EXISTING PAVEMENT IS TO BE SAW CUT IN A NEAT STRAIGHT LINE, EITHER PARALLEL OR PERPENDICULAR TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE STREET, AND AT A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF TWO (2) FEET FROM THE EXISTING EDGE OF PAVEMENT: 7. IF THE TEST RESULTS FOR ANY LOT OF ASPHALT CONCRETE INDICATE THAT THE RELATIVE COMPACTION IS EITHER LESS THAN 90 PERCENT OR MORE THAN 96 PERCENT THE ASPHALT CONCRETE REPRESENTED BY THE LOT SHALL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH MATERIAL THAT DOES MEET THE IN PLACE DENSITY REQUIREMENT.
