City staff and Youth Commissioners gave brief introductions of themselves.
3. PUBLIC STATEMENTS
There were no public statements.
4. NEW BUSINESS
A. Orientation (Presentation)
Administrative Analyst, Christopher Gerry, presented the City structure and operations.
Management Assistant, Caleb Blaschke, then presented the goals and objectives of the
Youth Commission. Associate Attorney, Viridiana Gallardo-King, then presented the Brown
Act and Robert’s Rules of Order. Finally, Councilmember Willie Rivera discussed his
experience in a similar program and the benefits resulting from such a program.

The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
