RE: Drainage Study for 2544 Mount Vernon Avenue
Dear Robert D Winslow :
We have completed review of the revised drainage study for 2544 Mount Vernon Avenue
dated March 28, 2017. As a result of our review, we approve the drainage study with the
following comments.
1. Please make sure to address the comments from the Kern County Public Works
Department.
2. The proposed ramps on the NWC and SWC in Mt. Vernon shall be constructed per Cal
Trans Standard Case "B". The proposed cross gutter shall be e xtended 4' from the lip to
the west to minimize any additional runoff f rom Mt. Vernon to the property.
3. Please add a note to the grading plan "The onsite catch basins and storm drain system
shall be maintained privately and the City of Bakersfield will not assume responsibility
over the maintenance ".
4. Please provide a copy of the calculations on a CD. As a back up to the hard copy
submitted, the City is asking all the engineering firms to submit a digital PDF copy.
