Service shall be 120v/244v Type Ill–BF, provided by Contractor. ® Pull box In front of controller shall be #6 All others shall be 15 unless otherwise noted. P.G.&E. power point will be installed by others. Contractor shall install conduit from power point to pull box and make connections for power. ® Luminaires shall be cutoff type, 165 W. LED. ® All new signal indications shall be 12 Inch. ® Street name signs and hangers shall be furnished and installed by Contractor. ® All pedestrian indications shall be new, international symbol type as detailed in the specifications. ® All unused, salvaged material shall be delivered, by the contractor, to Wastewater Plant #2 at Mt. Vernon Ave. south of Fwy. 58. Contact Frank Young prior to delivery at (805) 326-3152. ® Pole location indicated on the "Pole Schedule" are approximate. Final location of the standards shall be as directed by the Engineer at the site. - ® All utility locations shown are approximate only and represent the best information supplied by the various utility companies. Final responsibility for locating utilities in the field lies with the Contractor. © Contractor shall remove striping and pavement markings as indicated on the pian, by obliterating a rectangle whose limits are the edge of each word. Under NO circumstances are the letters to be removed individually. ® Existing sidewalk shall be removed and replaced as necessary to complete all construction. Sidewalk may only be removed and replaced in complete panels. ®Refer to the Parcel Map No. 11788/PDR No. 13-0110 Street Construction Plans for striping and pavement markings. ® If conduits are existing, use existing conduits as directed by City Engineer. ® Provide traffic control sign mounted on most arm/signal standard. (Type as indicated) ® Furnish and install Opticom 711(Singie Unit) preemption devices as indicated on plans including all cables and mounting hardware. The contractor shall also fumish and install an Opticom 754 phase selector unit in the controller cabinet. Contractor shall provide a fully operational preemption system. Exact preemption hardware mounting placement shall be determined by the Traffic Engineer in the field. Contractor shall provide an Opticom technician . The Opticom representative must be contacted 48 hours prior to signal initialization. ® Intercept existing interconnect conduit and route to pull box. ® Refer to Street Construction Plans for reconstruction of existing medians, construction of proposed commercial entrance, handicap ramps, and construction of proposed pavement markings and striping details. ® Overhead utilities to be relocated by others ® Pavement Markings and Striping Details on this plan are shown for reference only.
