Re: Landscape Improvements Maintenance Period for Tract 6557 phase 2 (Landscape Development Inc.)
The City of Bakersfield Department of Recreation & Parks has completed its inspection of Tract 6557
phase 2, more specifically the landscape improvements located on the east side of Mountain Ridge Drive
and the south side of Berkshire Road, including the sump frontage on Torrent way. At this time, the City is
prepared to accept the area into a (minimum) three hundred sixty-five (365) day maintenance period. The
maintenance period is scheduled to expire April 25, 2018.
Prior to completion of the maintenance period, we are requesting that the following be completed:
1. Area must be scheduled for weekly maintenance for the entire maintenance period. Failure to do
so could result in suspension of the maintenance period contract.
2. Replace any dead, dying or missing plant material as soon as the problem is discovered, but no less
than 4 weeks prior to acceptance.
3. Correct any and all problems as soon as they are identified.
4. Contact the Recreation and Parks Department 4 weeks prior to the completion of the maintenance
period for a final review.
This letter is for notification purposes only. This letter may not be used to set any termination or release
date for any security in connection with the original agreement with the City of Bakersfield. Securities or
Deposits made may only be released at such time as a City of Bakersfield release authorization letter is
issued after the warranty period has been completed.
