AN OPEN STREET PERMIT SHALL BE OBTAINED FROM THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT FOR ANY WORK PERFORMED WITHIN EXISTING ACCEPTED STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY. UNLESS SECURED BY A SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT, SECURITY BASED ON AN APPROVED ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE FOR THE WORK PERFORMED WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY AND INSURANCE AS REQUIRED SHALL BE PROVIDED PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT. 2. STANTEC SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR UNAUTHORIZED CHANGES TO, OR USES OF THESE PLANS. ALL CHANGES TO THESE PLANS MUST BE APPROVED IN WRITING BY STANTEC. 6. COMPACTION TESTS SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DEVELOPER/SUBDIVIDER/CONTRACTOR. THE NUMBER AND LOCATION OF REQUIRED TESTS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE CITY ENGINEER. 7.
