Please see email below. It sounds like Public Works is agreeable to keeping the six foot height for 104 Acapulco and possibly for 105 Acapulco if you can show that the wall won't impair your vision of pedestrians on the sidewalk while exiting your driveway. I would suggest that you contact Public Works and arrange a meeting with Mr. Wright to reach a resolution. You can reach him at 326 -3575. 1 know an encroachment permit has been issued for 104 and it may need to be modified to allow the six foot height. A separate permit will be needed for 105. We will need to see plans on how the wall was constructed to make sure there is not a sight line issue with the driveway at 105 Acapulco. Also, if the new walls do have gates, then the permit will say that these accesses are for pedestrians only. If they want vehicle access at these locations, then driveways will need to be constructed with sidewalk behind the driveway to meet ADA requirements, and the gates /driveways will need to meet sight line requirements (in other words, there will be quite a bit of construction and probably re- construction required for vehicle access).
