RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF
2003 BUICK CENTURY AND 2005 FORD 500
TO THE BAKERSFIELD HOMELESS CENTER,
A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION
FOR TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2,100)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses a 2003 Buick Century and 2005
Ford 500 which have been declared surplus; and
WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Homeless Center, a nonprofit organization,
desires to purchase both surplus vehicles at a total cost of two thousand one
hundred dollars ($2,100); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a nonprofit organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated
herein by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell a surplus
Buick Century and a surplus Ford 500 to the Bakersfield Homeless
Center for one thousand dollars ($2,100).

HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted
by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on
