AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD CHANGING THE NAMES OF CANARY ISLAND
DRIVE TO EMPIRE DRIVE AND BAHAMAS COURT TO
BAHAMAS DRIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That the portion of Parcel Map 7310, City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, as per map recorded August 23,
1985, in Book 32, Pages 80, 81 and 82, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, designated as Canary Island Drive be
renamed to Empire Drive and Bahamas Court be renamed to Bahamas
Drive.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regu-
lar meeting thereof held on the 18th day of June , 1986, by
