At the request of the property owner, the undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield,
designated by ordinances of said City as Advisory Agency with respect to Parcel Map Waivers, Lot Line
Adjustments, and Certificates of Compliance and acting herein on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, hereby
states that portion of land described on the attached Exhibit "A" and shown on attached Exhibit "B" complies
with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the City of
Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating divisions of land.
This certificate relates only to issues of compliance or noncompliance with the Subdivision Map Act
and local ordinances enacted pursuant thereto. The parcel described herein may be sold, leased, or financed
without further compliance with the Subdivision Map .Act or any local ordinance enacted pursuant thereto.
Development of the parcel may require issuance of a permit or permits, or other grant or grants of approval.

Being a consolidation of those portions of land shown as lots 66 and 67 of Tract No.
5144 Phase 1 recorded in book 39, page 22 of maps in the office of the Kern County
Recorder, also being portions of the southhalf of the southeast quarter of Section 16, T.
29 S., R. 27 E., M.D.M. in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California
and more particularly described as fo[lows.
Point of beginning being the northeast corner of Lot No. 65 of said Tract No. 5144
marked by a 2" iron pipe with a redwood hub tagged RCE 15177 and also located on
the south right of way of Hageman Road; Thence S 89006'52" E, along said right of way
154-21 feet;, Thence S 44006'52" E7 42.43 feet to a point on' the west right of way line of
Madre Street as shown on said map; Thence S 0053'08" W along said right of way
108.79 feet;. Thence southwesterly along a tangent curve concave to the northwest
having a radius of 20.00 feet through a central angle of 900 00,00" an arc length of
31.42 feet to a_ point on the north right of way line of Topaz Lane; Thence N 890 06'52"
W along a tangent line and said right of way 164.21 feet to a point on the east line of
