At the request of the property owner, the undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, designated
by ordinances of said City as Advisory Agency with respect to Parcel Map Waivers, Lot Line Adjustments, and
Certificates of Compliance and acting herein on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, hereby states that portion of the
NE 1/4 of Section 25, T. 29 S., R. 27 E., M. D. M. described on the attached Exhibit "A" and shown on the attached
Exhibit "B complies with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the
City of Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating divisions of land.
This certificate relates only to issues of compliance or noncompliance with the Subdivision Map Act and local
ordinances enacted pursuant thereto. The parcel described herein may be sold, leased, or financed without further
compliance with the Subdivision Map Act or any local ordinance enacted pursuant thereto. Development of the parcel
may require issuance of a permit or permits, or other grant or grants of approval.

EXHIBIT A
Legal Description
Being a merger of those portions of land shown as lots 1, 21 31 49 51 6 17, 81 9, and
10 in block 158 of the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, state of California, as
per map recorded April 19, 1904 in Book 1, Pages 13 and 14 of Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County, being also a portion of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 29 South, Range 27 East, Mount
Diablo Meridian.
Said parcel being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said lot 1 of block 158; thence
1� North along the easterly line of lots 1, 2, 31 41 51 6 71 81 9, and 10 a
distance of 264 feet to the northeast corner of lot 10; thence
2) West along the north line of lot 10 a distance of 122 feet to the northwest
corner of lot 10; thence
3) South along,. the westerly line of lots 1, 21 31 4, 51 6 71 81 9, and 10 a
distance of 264 feet to the southwest corner of lot 1; thence
4) East along the south line of lot 10 a distance of 122 feet to the southeast
corner of lot 1 and the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM all of the minerals including oil, gas, asphaltum and
other hydrocarbons in and under said premises, as reserved in the deed from
Kern County Land Company, A corporation, recorded November 17, 1945 in
Book 1298, Page 353 of official Records.
The above described parcel is not intended to cut -off fee rights to adjacent public
