The undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, designated by ordinances of said City as Advisory
Agency with respect to Parcel Map Waivers and Lot Line Adjustments and acting herein on behalf of the City

of Bakersfield, hereby states that the Parcel Map Waiver for the hereinafter- described parcels of land complies
with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the City of
Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating divisions of land.
Said parcels of land, being situated in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kem, State of California, are more
particularly described as follows on Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B.
It should be noted that the preparation and record4tion of a Certificate of Compliance shows that the Parcel
Map Waiver conforms to die requirements of the Map Act only and should not be interpreted as the sole
requirement for obtaining construction permits.

Based upon the August 12, 1994, meeting with you, John Giumarra, and City personnel, the
comments and conditions for the review of your request for the waiver of the requirement fora Parcel Map
to divide Parcel A of Parcel Map 5700 have been revised as listed below. The items deleted for the land
division are shown by stFi.:aewt. Be reminded that as was discussed and agreed upon during the meeting,
those conditions indicated by st0l(esu will be imposed at the time of development on or division of
proposed Parcel 2. They will be listed as future requirements on the Certificate of Compliance for this land
division.
Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and of Chapter 16 of the
City of Bakersfield Municipal Code, and subject to your conformance with the above - mentioned codes and
your fulfillment of the following comments and conditions, your request is hereby approved.

9 On Exhibit "A ", compare the bearing of Parcel 1, course 8, and Parcel 2, course 9 with the bearing
shown on the map and calcs.

10.1 show all easements of record. If the easement cannot be located from record information,
then that fact shall be noted on the plat.
10.2 the maximum sheet size shall be 81W x 14 ". Ensure all letters and numbers will be legible
for recording purposes.
Upon your completion of the above-mentioned items and submittal of Exhibits "A"& "B•, properly
signed and sealed in accordance with the Land Surveyor's Act, along with a check made payable to the
Kern County Recorder to cover all costs of recording, this office will prepare a Certificate of Compliance
for the resulting parcels certifying that it conforms to the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and local
ordinance relating to the division of land.
