Being a consolidation and redivision of those portions of land in the City of Bakersfield shown as Lots 9, 10, 11, 12,
& 13 in Block 49 of the Lowell Addition, per the map recorded November 25, 1898, in the office of the Kern County
Recorder, in Book 1 of Maps, Pages 13 & 14, also being a portion of the Section 5, T. 29 S., R- 28 E., M. D. B. & M.
Assessor's Parcel Number 9- 251- 03 -00 -2.
The undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, designated by ordinances of said City as Advisory Agency
with respect to Parcel Map Waivers and Lot Line Adjustments and acting on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, hereby
states that the Parcel Map Waiver for the hereinafter- described parcels of land complies with the provisions of the
Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the City of Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating
divisions of land.
Said parcels of land, being situated in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, are mom
particularly described as follows on Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B.
It should be noted that the preparation and recordation of a Certificate of Compliance shows that the Parcel Map
Waiver conforms to the requirements of the Map Act only and should not be interpreted as the sole requirement for
obtaining construction permits.
BENJAMIN D. PHIPPS and LILLMNA. PHIPPS, husband and wife as joint tenants., ar e the owners of the

1898, in Book 1 of Maps, Pages 13 & 14, also being a portion
of Section 31, T29S, R28E, M.D.B.& M., more particularly
described as follows:

Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Lot 13 in Block 49 of the
Lowell Addition, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California, as per Map recorded November 25, 1898 in
Book 1, Page 13 and 14 of Maps, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County, the true point of beginning;
Thence (1.) Continuing North 0 000'00" East, a distance of 73.50';
