This Certificate of Compliance is being issued and recorded for 1 parcel.
At the request of the property owner, the undersigned City Engineer of the City of
Bakersfield, designated by ordinances of said City as Advisory Agency with respect to Parcel Map
Waivers, Lot Line Adjustments, and Certificates of Compliance and acting herein on behalf of the
City of Bakersfield, hereby states that portion of the NW Y4 of Section 30, T. 29 S., R. 28 E., M. D.
M. described on the attached Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B" complies with the provisions of
the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the City of Bakersfield
Municipal Code regulating divisions of land.
This certificate relates only to issues of compliance or noncompliance with the Subdivision
Map Act and local ordinances enacted pursuant thereto. The parcel described herein may be sold,
leased, or financed without further compliance with the Subdivision Map Act or any local ordinance
enacted pursuant thereto. Development of the parcel may require issuance of a permit or permits,
or other grant or grants of approval.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
PARCEL A
Being a consolidation of Lots 1 - 8 of Block 190 of the Map of the City of Bakersfield, including
the alley vacated by Resolution No. 58 -72 recorded in Book 5725, Page 873, Kern County
Official Records, recorded November 25, 1898 in Map Book 1, Page 13, in the Office of the Kern
County Recorder, located in the northwest quarter of Section 30, T. 29 S., R. 28 E., M. D. M.
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest comer of said Lot 4, said point being 41.25' off of, as measured at a
right angle, the centerline of "M" Street and 22nd Street at the southeasterly right -of -way angle
point of said streets;
thence N 89 059159" E along the north line of said Block 190 and the southerly right -of -way line of
22nd Street, a distance of 264.08 feet, to the northeast comer of said Lot 1, said point being
41.25' off of, as measured at a right angle, the centerline of 22nd Street and "N" Street at the
southwesterly right -of -way angle point of said streets;
thence S 00 000'05" E along the east line of said Block 190 and the westerly right -of -way line of
"N" Street, a distance of 264.21 feet, to the southeast corner of said Lot 8, said point being 41.25'
off of, as measured at a right angle, the centerline of "N" Street and 21 at Street at the
northwesterly right -of -way angle point of said streets;
thence N 89 °59'55" W along the south line of said Block 190 and the northerly right -of -way line
of 21st Street, a distance of 264.10 feet, to the southwest comer of said Lot 5, said point being
41.25' off of, as measured at a right angle, the centerline of "M" Street and 21 at Street at the
northeasterly right -of -way angle point of said streets;
thence N 00 °00'11" E along the west line of said Block 190 and the easterly right -of -way line of
"M" Street, a distance of 264.20 feet, to the Point of Beginning;
