The undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, designated by ordinances of said City as Advisory
Agency with respect to Parcel Map Waivers and Lot Line Adjustments and acting herein on behalf of the
City of Bakersfield, hereby states that the Parcel Map Waiver for the hereinafter - described parcel of land
complies with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the
City of Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating divisions of land.
Said parcel of land, being situated in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, is more
particularly described as follows on Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B.

WHEREAS, CENTRAL CALIFORNIA CONFERENCE ASSOCIATION OF THE SEVENTH DAY
ADVENTIST, a Corporation; THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA CONFERENCE OF
SEVENTH -DAY ADVENTISTS, a religious corporation; CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
CONFERENCE ASSOCIATION OF SEVENTH -DAY ADVENTISTS, THE, a religious
corporation, is the owner of both the real property benefited by this
Covenant ( "Benefited Property ") and the real property burdened by this
Covenant ( "Burdened Property "); and
WHEREAS, the Benefited Property is real property located in the City
of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, described as
follows:
The E 1/2 of NE 1/4 of the NE 114 of the SW 1/4 of Section 22,
Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Burdened Property is real property located in the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, described as
follows:
The West one acre of that portion of the S 1/2 of the NW 1/4
of Section 22, Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D.M., lying
Southeasterly of the Southeasterly Boundary of Bernard Street; and
WHEREAS, an Easement for ingress and egress purposes over the Burdened
Property for benefit of the Benefited Property is required by the City
of Bakersfield in connection with the City's approval of Parcel Map
Waiver No. 34 -91; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 65870 et seq. of the California
Government Code, the City of Bakersfield has adopted Chapter 12.60 of
the Bakersfield Municipal Code, permitting creation of required
easements by recorded Covenants.
NOW THEREFORE, CENTRAL CALIFORNIA CONFERENCE ASSOCIATION OF THE
SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST, a corporation; THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
CONFERENCE OF SEVENTH -DAY ADVENTISTS, a religious corporation; CENTRAL
CALIFORNIA CONFERENCE ASSOCIATION OF SEVENTH -DAY ADVENTISTS, THE, a
religious corporation, by this Covenant does hereby create an Easement
for ingress and egress purposes over the following described portion
of the burdened property:
Beginning at the intersection of the Southeasterly Boundary of
Bernard Street with the South Line of the NW 1/4 of Section 22,
T. 29 S., R. 28 E., M.D.M., said Boundary Line being a curve
concave to the northwest with a radius of 1344.80 feet the center
of which bears N 1S °31'16" W from said point of intersection;

thence, northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of
7 °30'34 ", an arc distance of 176.25 feet; thence S 00 °21'43" E,
56.23 feet to a point on the beforementioned South Line of said
NW 1/4; thence, S 89 °20'34" W, along said South Line, 166.62 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
Contains 4345.66 sq. ft., 0.10 acres more or less.
Upon recordation of the Covenant, the burdens of the Easement shall be
binding upon, and the benefits shall inure to, all successors in
interest to the real property, until and unless the Covenant is
released in accordance with the procedure specified in Section
12.60.030 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code.
