The undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, designated by ordinances of said City as Advisory
Agency with respect to Parcel Map Waivers and Lot Line Adjustments and acting herein on behalf of the City
of Bakersfield, hereby certifies that the Lot Line Adjustment for the hereinafter- described parcels of land
complies with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the City
of Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating divisions of land.
Said adjusted parcels of land, being situated in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California,
are more particularly described on Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B.
It should be noted that the preparation and recordation of a Certificate of Compliance shows that the lot line
adjustment conforms to the requirements of the Map Act only and should not be interpreted as the sole
requirement for obtaining construction permits.

WHEREAS, to assure that there will be a means of providing an easement for existing sewer
and water lines to Parcel B, Buck Owens Production Company Inc. has agreed that,
upon conveyance of Parcel A, an easement for sewer and water lines shall be reserved,
so that upon the sale of Parcel B, by Buck Owens Production Company Inc., an appurtenant
easement for sewer and water lines can be conveyed to the purchaser of Parcel B providing
rights of easement for existing sewer and water lines to Pierce Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, Buck Owens Production Company Inc., does hereby declare that this
covenent is non - revocable, and shall continue to burden and benefit the parcels within Lot
Line Adjustment No. 376 until such time as an easement for sewer and water lines over
Parcel A is Granted to Parcel B over the following described portion of Parcel A:
A strip of land 25.00 feet wide, the center line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of Parcel A of Lot Line Adjustment No. 376
lying N 00 32'26" E a distance of 37.50 feet from the Southwest corner of said
Parcel A:
Thence: S 890 09'34" E a distance of 493.00 feet to the Easterly terminus of this
easement.
Together with the South 25.00 feet of the West 15.00 feet of said Lot A.
