NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 2.04.010 OF THE
BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING TIME
AND PLACE OF COUNCIL WORKSHOPS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 2.04.010 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
2.04.010 Time and place.
The regular meetings of the City Council shall be held
at seven (7:00) p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall,
1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, on Wednesdays of each week
throughout the year, except when such Wednesdays are a legal
holiday; provided, however, that the Council may, from time to
time by resolution, change the number and date of meetings to be
held during any specified period of time. Regular workshop meet-
ings of the City Council shall be held at five-fifteen
(5:15) p.m. prior to, and at the same place as, the regular meet-
ing of the City Council.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regu-
lar meeting thereof held on the 10th day of September , 198--6, by
the following vote:
