The undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, designated by
ordinances of said City as Advisory Agency with respect to Parcel Map
Waivers and Lot Line Adjustments and acting herein on behalf of the City of
Bakersfield, hereby certifies that the Lot Line Adjusmtent for the hereinafter-
described parcels of land complies with the provisions of the Subdivision Map
Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the City of Bakersfield
Municipal Code regulating divisions of land.
Said parcels of land, being situated in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California, are more particularly described as follows on Exhibit A and
shown on Exhibit B.

Those certain portions of Blacks 143, 176, and 183 in the City
of Bakersfield, as said blocks are shown on the certain map
dated March 30, 1904, entitled "Sales Map of the Kern County
Land Company Showing Subdivisions of its Additions to the City
of Bakersfield, Kern County, California," which map was filed
in the Office of the County Recorder of said Kern County on
April 19, 1904, also being a portion of the Northeast Quarter
of Section 30, T. 295., R. 28E., M.D.M., County of Kern, State
of California, and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest Corner of Said Block 143; thence
southerly on and along the West line of said block, South 00°
02' 00" West, 19.61 feet to a point on the southwesterly
boundary line of Golden State Avenue, as said avenue was
established by Decree of Condemnation in Case No. 25454 in the
Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the
County of Kern, a certified copy of which decree was recorded
January 17, 1933 in Book 451, Page 467 of Official Records, in
the Office of the County Recorder of said Kern County; thence
southeasterly on and along said boundary line South 650 39' 00"
East, 24.45 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
continuing on and along said boundary line, South 65° 39' 00"
East, 320.99 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave
to the Southwest, through a central angle of 101 15' 28 ", with
a radius of 1445.00 feet, an arc length of 258.70 feet to a
point of intersection with the westerly Right of Way Line of
the Kern Island Canal; thence southwesterly on and along said
westerly Right of Way Line South 42° 56' 00" West, 141.70 feet;
thence South 45° 15' 00" West, 308.08 feet; thence South 06°
41' 00" West 199.67 feet to a point which lies 34.00 feet North
as measured at right angles thereto, of the easterly prolongation
of the South line of the alley in said Block 183; thence North

152.22 feet to point in the North line of 21st Street; thence
westerly on and along said North line, North 89° 58' 20" West,
40.73 feet to a point on the United States Government
Segregation Line separating the swamp and overflowed lands from

Official Plat thereof on file in the Office of the Surveyor
General, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of 21st Street, distant
thereon North 89° 58' 40" West, 418.72 feet from the
intersection of the North line of 21 Street with the West line
of "V" Street; said point of beginning being the Southwest
corner of the parcel of land conveyed to Julius E. Chandler, et
ux, in the deed recorded August 22, 1958 in Book 2997, Page 42
of Official Records; thence North Oo O1' 20" East, 116.53 feet
along the West line of said parcel of land to the point of
Intersection with the South line of an alley shown in Block
183, if extended easterly; thence easterly on and long said
line, South 89° 57' 00" East, 5.64 feet to a point of
intersection with the westerly Right of Way Line of the Kern
Island Canal; thence northerly on and along said Right of Way
Line, North 060 41' 00" East, 34.23 feet; thence westerly on
and along a line which lies 34.00 feet North, as measured at
right angles thereto, the easterly prolongation of the South
line of an alley in said Block 183; thence North 890 57' 00"

to a point in the North line of 21st Street; thence easterly on
