THE SECTION MAY BE NOTIFIED AT (661) 326-3049. 2. COMPACTION TEST NOTE: COMPACTION TESTS SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. THE NUMBER AND LOCATION SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE CITY ENGINEER. 3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE U.S.A. LOCATOR SERVICE AT 1-800-642-2444 48 HOURS PRIOR TO ANY EXCAVATION. CONTRACTOR SHALL POTHOLE UTILITIES TO VERIFY LOCATION AND DEPTH PRIOR TO TRENCHING. 4. IF SUCH SUSPENSION DELAYS THE CURRENT CONTROLLING OPERATION, THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE GRANTED AN EXTENSION OF TIME AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 8-1.07, "LIQUIDATED DAMAGES", OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS.
