a. Approval of the minutes of the regular meeting held January 9, 2018.
4. CONSENT CALENDAR PUBLIC HEARINGS
(Ward 2) a. Conditional Use Permit No. 17-0427: Approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow
indoor horticultural plantings (mushrooms) and associated packing plant
(17.64.020.13) in a C-2 (Regional Commercial Zone) district located at 120 30th Street.
A finding that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act
will also be considered.
(Owner / Applicant: Kern Ice & Cold Storage / Michael Mazzei Sr.)
(Staff recommends approval)
(Ward 2) b. Conditional Use Permit No. 17-0462: Approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow a
beauty salon/day spa (I7.20.040.B.3) in a C-O (Professional and Administrative
Office Zone) district located at 212 Coffee Road. A finding that the project is
exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act will also be considered.
