CONSENT CALENDAR
Agreements
TCP Mitigation Project. There are two agenda items on the
Item 8.t. and Item 8.aa.
agenda regarding the TCP Mitigation Project. The first item recommends amending the
agreement with W.M. Lyles to provide design/build services by increasing the contract
amount by approximately $266,000. The amendment allows for the balance of the 70
percent design work to be completed. Due to the nature of the project, City staff
anticipates future amendments as well. The second item recommends awarding
approximately $2.15 million to Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC, to supply 10 additional
TCP vessel treatment systems. The City Council previously awarded the purchase of 42 TCP
vessel treatment systems with the same vendor for this project.
Resolutions
West Beltway Project. This item recommends purchasing approximately
Item 8.v.
24 acres of land reserved for the future West Beltway from Bolthouse Land Company, LLC,
for $1,705,000. The property is located south of Stockdale Highway and north of the Cross
Valley Canal. Purchasing the property now alleviates the potential development of the
subject property and the need to acquire fully improved land at a later date.
