P W 12 - 11 3 CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ADOPT A HIGHWAY SERVICE AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into on g;Up 2 7m2 , by and between the CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, a Charter city and municipal corporation, ("CITY" herein) and KEEP BAKERSFIELD BEAUTIFUL, a committee of volunteers, ("VOLUNTEER" herein). RECITALS WHEREAS, VOLUNTFFR requests of CITY that VOLUNTEER be allowed to adopt a street and roundabout for beautification and clean-up purposes; and WHEREAS, VOLUNTEER wishes to keep Bakersfield, California, clean and beautiful; and WHEREAS, CITY wishes to keep Bakersfield, California,. clean and beautiful; WHEREAS, at VOLUNTEER's request CITY will include VOLUNTFERin its Adopt A Highway Program. NOW, THEREFORE, incorporating the foregoing recitals herein, CITY and VOLUNTEER mutually agree as follows: 1. SERVICES. VOLUNTEER will provide services as per the adopted guidelines and policies of the Adopt A Highway Program for two (2) years from the date of this Agreement.
