ROJAS, DIRECTOR • MY ENOR EER March 18, 2005 Mr. Richard Froehlich 2901 22nd Street Bakersfield, CA 93301 RE: Encroachment Permit Application Dear Mr. Froehlich: We have reviewed your application for an encroachment permit for a wall and pilaster along the west side of your lot, extending to the back of existing curb and the treatment in the center of the lot. There is to be a minimum of 4.5 feet of unobstructed area behind the curb for pedestrian travel along 22nd Street; therefore we must deny your request for an encroachment permit at this time. When the encroachments are removed and /or moved back to the minimum 4.5 foot setback and all other encroachments, the pilasters in the center of the lot, within the city right -of -way are included in your application we can again continue the review of your encroachment permit.
