The banner is being requested in combination with the Centennial Street Faire Promotion scheduled for every third Thursday, May through August. The location is at the intersection of 19th Street and Chester Avenue. This location has a cable running across the street and has been used for Christmas decorations and various banners in the past. The DBA has granted permission for The Centennial Foundation to use the cable. The banner is vinyl, 2- sided, 3' X 50', with event logos, and time of event.(see attached) It is the intention of the Centennial Street Faire committee to hang this banner the Friday before every Street Faire and remove it the Friday after each event. For example: Street Faire Thursday, May, 21" Thursday, June 18th Thursday, July 16th Thursday, August 20"' Banner Placement Friday, May 15th Friday, June 12th Friday, July 10th Friday, August 1&h Banner Removal Friday, May 22nd Friday, June 19th Friday, July 17"' Friday, August 21st Banners Placed on Light Standards In addition to the across -the- street banner, the committee would like to place eleven 9 foot banners on "H" and "L" streets. (see attached map) These banners have been previously approved by city staff. A sample of the banner is enclosed. The committee is requesting an installation date of May 11`h and removal date of August 21st. Arrangements for installation, removal, and insurance will be provided the Downtown Business Association.
