AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING SECTION 17.08.080 D TO
THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
RECONSTRUCTION OF DAMAGED NONCONFORMING
RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 17.08.080 D is hereby added to the Bakersfield
Municipal Code to read as follows:
17.08.080
Reconstruction of damaged nonconforming
buildings.
D. The provisions of subsection A of this
section shall not apply to the reconstruction of any damaged or
destroyed residential structure made nonconforming by adoption of
the Baker Street Corridor Specific Plan and related rezoning
actions, provided, however, that the provisions of subsection C of
this section shall apply to any such reconstruction. This subsec-
tion shall expire and shall be of no further force or effect after
March 31, 2007.
