ALL GRADING SHALL CONFORM WITH APPENDIX J - CALIFORNIA BUILDING CODE AND STANDARDS PERTAINING THEREOF AND PRELIMINARY SOILS REPORT BY KRAZAN & ASSOCIATES, INC. DATED SEPTEMBER 6, 2013. 2. THE DESIGN ENGINEER SHALL EXERCISE SUFFICIENT SUPERVISOR CONTROL DURING GRADING AND CONSTRUCTION 70 INSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE PLANS, SOILS REPORT, SPECIFICATIONS, AND CODE WITHIN THEIR PURVIEW. J. IF AN AREA SHOULD BE FOUND TO BE MORE 774AN 0.10 FOOT OUT OF LEVEL AFTER COMPACTING AND ACCEPTANCE OF GRADING, 774E CONTRACTOR SHALL RETURN AND CORRECT THE GRADING AT NO COST TO THE OWNER. 7. 774E GRADING CONTRACTOR SHALL WATER AS REQUIRED DURING THE GRADING OPERATIONS TO PREVENT THE OCCURRENCE OF A DUST NUISANCE AND SHALL PR07ECT CURBS AND OTHER OBJECTS WHICH ARE TO REMAIN. 8. EXCAVATION - EXCAVATION SHALL CONSIST OF ALL EXCAVATION INVOLVED IN GRADING THE PROJECT AS SHOWN DN THE PLANS EXCEPT ANY EXCAVATION SEPARATELY DESIGNATED AND PAID FOR AS A SEPARATE ITEM. 9. THE SOIL ENGINEER SHALL REVIEW ALL EXCAVATIONS PRIOR TO BACKFILLING AND SHALL BE NOTIFIED OF ANY 17EM ENCOUNTERED DURING THE GRADING OPERATIONS THAT MIGHT AFFECT FOUNDATION STABILITY SO RECOMMENDATIONS CAN BE MADE BY THE SOIL ENGINEER. 15. CUT AND FILL SLOPES SHALL NOT BE STEEPER THAN 2.. L 16. ALL SLOPES GREATER THAN THREE (3) FEET IN VERTICAL HEIGHT SHALL BE PREPARED AND MAINTAINED 70 PREVENT EROSION.
