This Certificate of Compliance is being issued and recorded for 2 parcels.
As evidenced by that Grant Deed recorded November 6, 1953, in Book 2147, Page 343, Official Records, a
division of land occurred. The land conveyed, being portions of the NW '/ of Section 30, T. 29 S., R. 28 E., M. D. M., was
described as the west 24.00 feet of Lot 8 and the east 16 feet of Lot 7, both in Block 228 of the City of Bakersfield, per the
map recorded August 17, 1875 in Book 1 of Maps, Page 17. In accordance with Government Code Section 66499.34, the
portions of land described above have been determined to be "real property which has been approved for development ".
The undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield is designated by ordinances of said City as Advisory
Agency with respect to Parcel Map Waivers, Lot Line Adjustments, and Certificates of Compliance. At the request of the
agent for the property owner and acting herein on behalf of the City of Bakersfield and in accordance with Government Code
Section 66499.35 (c), said City Engineer hereby issues this Certificate of Compliance for the following described parcels
of land:
1) the west 24.00 feet of Lot 8 in Block 228 of the City of Bakersfield, per the map recorded August 17, 1875 in Book
1 of Maps, Page 17; and
2) the east 16.00 feet of Lot 7 in Block 228 of the City of Bakersfield, per the map recorded August 17, 1875 in Book
1 of Maps, Page 17.
The above - described parcels of land comply with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and
Chapter 16 of the City of Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating divisions of land.
This certificate relates only to issues of compliance or noncompliance with the Subdivision Map Act and local
ordinances enacted pursuant thereto. The parcels described herein may be sold, leased, or financed without further
compliance with the Subdivision Map Act or any local ordinance enacted pursuant thereto. Additional development of the
parcels may require issuance of a permit or permits, or other grant or grants of approval.
