The undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, designated by ordinances of said City as
Advisory Agency with respect to Parcel Map Waivers and Lot Line Adjustments and acting herein
on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, hereby states that the Parcel Map Waiver for the
hereinafter - described parcel of land complies with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the
State of California and Chapter 16 of the City of Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating divisions
of land.
Said parcel of land, being situated in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California,
are more particularly described as follows on Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B..
MICHAEL H. HAWORTH, and MARGARET S. HAWORTH, husband and wVe, as Joint tenants,
are the owners of the described parcel of land.

Being a consolidation of those Parcels of land described as Parcels
7 and 8 of Parcel Map No. 8165 recorded in Book 34 of Parcel Maps at
Page 29, in the Office of the County Recorder and also being a por-
tion of Section 24, T.29S., R.27E., M.D.M., City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, and more particularly described
as follows:
Parcel A, point of beginning being the most Southwest corner of Par-
cel No. 6 of said Parcel Map; thence S75 027124 "E. along the boundary
of said Parcel 433.33 feet; thence S27 030'20 "W., 103.08 feet along the
West line of the Cross Valley Canal; thence S13 028'10 "W., 208.30
feet to the Northeast corner of Parcel A of Certificate of Compli-
ance, Book 5998, Page 1685 O.R.; thence along said Parcel N70 °10'
11 "W., 374.94 feet to a point on the East right of way of Sillect
Avenue, a curve concaved to the West having a radius of 845.00;
