CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE
(SECTION 66499.35, GOVERNMENT CODE)
The undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield is designated by ordinances of said City as Advisory
Agency with respect to Parcel Map Waivers, Lot Line Adjustments, and Certificates of Compliance.
Government Code Section 66499.35(d) states that a recorded final map constitutes a certificate of compliance with
respect to the portions of real property described in the map. Section 66451.10(a) states that two or more contiguous portions
of land are not deemed merged because of the fact they are held by the same owner.
Therefore, at the request of the property owner and acting herein on behalf of the City of Bakersfield and in
accordance with Government Code Section 66499.35, said City Engineer hereby issues this Certificate of Compliance for
the following described parcels of land:
1) Lot 58 of the Home Garden Subdivision, filed August 9, 1921, in Book 3 of Maps, Page 50, in the office
of the Kern County Recorder, and
2) Lot 59 of the Home Garden Subdivision, filed August 9, 1921, in Book 3 of Maps, Page 50, in the office
of the Kern County Recorder.

This Certificate of Compliance is being issued and recorded for 2 parcels.
This certificate relates only to issues of compliance or noncompliance with the Subdivision Map Act and local
ordinances enacted pursuant thereto. The parcels described herein may be sold, leased, or financed without further compliance
with the Subdivision Map Act or any local ordinance enacted pursuant thereto. Additional development of the parcels may
require issuance of a permit or permits, or other grant or grants of approval.
