A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CLOSING
OF NAPA STREET, IN THE CITY OF

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCLi, OF' TH'E' CITY OF BAKERS -
FIELD, as follows:
vvHEREA6, the Board of Trustees of the City of Bakersfield
did on the 24th day of February, 1915, pass its Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 282, declaring its intention to order the following work and
improvement to be done,, to -wit:
That all of that portion of Napa Street in the,City of
Bakersfield, except the intersection of Napa Street with Lake Street
in said City, be closed; and
Specifying in said Resolution the land to be affected or
benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the
damages, costs and expenses thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Bakers-
field did thereupon cause notices of the passage of said Resolution
to be posted and published for ten (10) days in the manner as required
by law, and
WHEREAS, no objections have been filed against said work
and improvement, and more than ten (10) dais have elapsed after the
expiration of the time of publication of said notices of the passage
of said Resolution, and the Council of the City of Bakersfield has
acquired jurisdiction to order said work as proposed in said Resolutinn
to be done,
NOW IMEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERJ'4D that said work and
improvement be done as aforesaid and as sT)ecifically described in
said Resolution of Intention No. 282, and said street be and the same
is hereby declared closed to the public.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the 41R --k
day of May, 1925, by the following vote:
Ayes -Bain, Benson, Carlisle, Carlock, Griffith, Martin, Stoner
