RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the Board of
Trustees of the City of Bakersfield to order the following public
work to be done in said city, to -wit;
That all of that portion of Napa Street in the City
of Bakersfield, except the intersection of Napa Street with
Lake Street in said city, be closed; that the exterior boundaries
of the district to be affected are as follows, to -wit -
Commencing at the southwest corner of Block Fifty (50)
in that portion of the City of Bakersfield formerly known as Kern
City; thence easterly along the northerly line of Kentucky street
to the westerly line of Stockton street; thence northerly al3bng
the westerly line of Stockton street to the intersection of
Stockton street with the southerly line of Section 24, T. 29 S.
R. 28 E. M. D. B. & M., thence westerly along said section line
to the easterly line of Union avenue; thence southerly Tong the
easterly line of Union avenue to the point of beginning. That
the said described district is the district to be affected or
benefitted by said closing of the said street, and shall be
assessed to pay the damages, costs and expenses thereof.
The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Balve rsfield
is hereby directed to post notice of the passage of this
Resolution of Intention in the manner and form required by law, and
to cause a sear notice to be published for ten days in the
a daily newspaper published and circulated in said city, and
hereby designated as the newspaper in which notice of the

passage of this Resolution of Intention shall be published in
the manner required by law.
