Acic I C - le) WHEREAS, the. City of Bakersfield accepted a donation, through, City Council Resolution No. 33-79, from Mary Churchmore Bultman of an assemblage of art and other collectibles ("COLLECTION" herein) in April 1979, the contents of which are described in Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the City has kept COLLECTION in storage since receipt of said items; and WHEREAS, City has no plans to put COLLECTION on display and the items are considered of nominal value; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 33-79 allows for the COLLECTION to be sold or disposed of in a manner not contrary to law; and WHEREAS, City plans to sell COLLECTION at a public auction to be held by US Auction. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference. 2.
