There are no basements at the locations where the pots will go.
The pots were purchased for us by Jere White at White Forest Nursery. The company I believe is Pacific Pottery.
The width is 33" and the height is 27"
If they need more information about them call Jere White at 366 -6291.

Hi Melissa. I need some more information. Do you have any specs and /or pictures of the pots? Model numbers?
Diameter? Maker?
Also, are any of these pots going to be placed in an area where there is a basement underneath? In many areas
downtown there are basements that are located under the sidewalk area. The City doesn't want to be responsible for a
pot that falls through the sidewalk because it was not placed on firm, stable ground.
I am including Bob Wilson and Trish Castruita from my office on this email because I will be out of the office beginning
tomorrow afternoon.

I forgot to mention the pots taper as they get closer to the bottom so they're not 33" at the bottom. Probably closer to
28" or so. That's a guess but I think I'm close.

I am attaching what the Tree Foundation sent me showing the location of the pots they will be placing. I couldn't tell
you the exact locations, however we will be telling them that they have to be at least 2' back from the face of curb to
allow cars that parallel park to be able to open their doors, and then there will need to be another 4' of clearance on the
other side for ADA regulations.
Please let me know if you have any issues. I am leaving Thursday afternoon for vacation and will not be back until May
13. They are hoping to place the pots on May 11.

Each property owner will be responsible for the maintenance of the
plantings and pots in front of their place of business /property. Failure
to maintain either the planting or the pot may result in the city
revoking the encroachment permit for the address, and removal of the
planting and pot. Any standing water on the sidewalk due to excessive
water will not be permitted.
These pots are a gift to many of our local businesses. Not only do they
add a touch of beauty to the front of your business, their care reflects
on how customers and clients see you from the street.
Remember that WATER is essential to all living things. Please water
your trees. If you need a small hose or a bucket, we will provide one
