HomeMy WebLinkAboutROI NO 07537 RESCLUTION OF INTFNT-fN NO. 753 A RESOLUTION OF THE C,L'NCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTEN- TION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF AN .ALLEY LYING WITHIN BLOCK 6, IN TRACT NO. 1009, IN SAID CITY. The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941" being Sections 8300, at sec„ of Division 9, Bart 3 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the Council of t'ce City of Bakersfield to order the vacation of an alley situate within the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, and being a portion of Section 19, Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D. M., described ea follows: All of that certain e11e7 lying within Block 6 in TRACT No. 1009, and as said alley and said Block 6, are shown on the map of said TRACT No, 1009, record- ed November 15, 1935, in Book 4 of Maps at pages 56, 57 and 58, in the office of the County Retarder of Kern County, California. For further particulars as to the proposed vacation, reference is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield, in the City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California. SECTION 2. That the hour of 6:00 oeclock F. M., Of the 18th day of July, 1960, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 1501 Truxtu: Avenue, Bakersfield, California, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time abd place when and where all persons interested in pr Objecting to the proposed vacation may appear before the Council and offer evidence in relation thereto. 1. SECTION 3: That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Bakersfield, California, be and he is hereby directed to cause "Notice of Street Vacation" to be posted as regared by said "Street Vacation Act of 194111, being Division 9, Part 3 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and the Council of said City hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of said Act, SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be posted on the Bulletin Board at the City Hall, 1$01 Truxtun Avenue, in the City of Bakersfielf California, within fifteen (1$) days after its passage. -----000----- I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 27th day of June, 1960, by the following vote: L�+ q�� ee ry r�nr<s c�. _us, cxacs_ oaous. srferv, Dim r a x- 3'icf&—oP tfie Counci of the City of Bakersfield.
