LOCATED AT 2157 MOHAWK STREET IN BAKERSFIELDz CALIFORNIA.
This is to advise you that this department has received the project
results for the orelimInary assessment associated-with the closure
of the tank - noted above .1
A notice of violation Was-:- issued to the owner/operator of the atbo,%.re

fai failure to obtain a
facility. on 2/25/88 permit for the
permanent closure of an uhdergroun-d storage tank. The tank removal
at the above facility, was completed without a permit from this
department and is in vio1ation of the California Health and Safety `51,
Code Division 20. How6ver, with the provision that the information
on soil analysis was,, accurate and re-oresentative of existing
dep satisfied that no further action is
conditions, this gartment is
indicated at this time;.
It is important to note that this letter does not relieve yo-Q of

Safety Code and California Water Code if additional or previously,

threat to public health. Nor does it relieve you of any liability

or other wastes associated with the removal of the underground tank

Dear Mr. Jones,
.. This department recently investigated your facility about the
possibility of an underground storage tank at 2157 Mohawk Drive.
On May 19, 1994, an inspection was conducted at the site and it was
determined that the Structure in question was a separator and not
an underground - storage tank. This department does not regulate 1 .
separators at this time.
