AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING SECTION 16.32.020 F. TO
THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT SECURITY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 16.32.020 F. of the Bakersfield Municipal Code
is hereby added to Chapter 16.32 to read as follows:
16.32.020 Security - Required.
F. If the required subdivision improvements are financed
and installed pursuant to special assessment proceedings, upon the
furnishing by the contractor of the faithful performance and labor
and material bonds required by the special assessment act being
used, the improvement security of the subdivider may be reduced by
an amount corresponding to the amount of such bonds so furnished
by the contractor.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.
