RE: Abandoned Underground Storage Tank (UST) located at
300 Fairview Road in Bakersfield, CA
Dear Mr. Pabla,
It has come to our attention that you currently own property located at 300
Fairview Road, Bakersfield, CA, which contains one 500 gallon capacity
underground storage tank (UST). Our records reveal that the UST has been
out of service for more than one year.
Per Sec. 5704.2.13 et seq. of the California Fire Code, this tank must be
properly removed. Please make the necessary arrangements to properly
remove this tank by having a qualified contractor submit a Permit
Application for UST Removal before November 30, 2019. Enforcement
action will ensue for failure to comply with this code requirement.
