IF RELOCATION OF EXISTING UTILITIES IS DEEMED NECESSARY THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE COMPENSATED FOR INSTRUCTED RELOCATION. IF REDESIGN OF THE ALIGNMENT REQUIRES ADDITIONAL FITTINGS, PIPE OR EXCAVATION THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE COMPENSATED FOR REVISION. IN THE EVENT A UTILITY IS DAMAGED THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE WHOLLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS REPAIR. 4. ALL EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS, (CURB, GUTTER, SIDEWALK, CROSS GUTTER, FENCES, ETC.) THAT ARE REMOVED, DAMAGED, UNDERCUT, OR DO NOT MEET CURRENT STANDARDS SET BY PUBLIC WORKS SHALL BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED AS DIRECTED BY THE CITY ENGINEER. 5. ALL EXISTING PAVING AND SURFACING REMOVED, DAMAGED OR UNDERCUT SHALL BE REPLACED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD STANDARD DRAWING ST -6, EXCEPT AS NOTED ON PLANS. 6. ALL MANHOLES AND CLEANOUTS WITHIN TRACT, INCLUDING EXISTING MANHOLES, SHALL BE ADJUSTED TO FINISH GRADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY STANDARDS.
