GENERAL GRADING NOTES: 1. ALL GRADING SHALL CONFORM WITH APPENDIX J - CALIFORNIA BUILDING CODE AND STANDARDS PERTAINING THEREOF AND PRELIMINARY SOILS REPORT BY SALEM ENGINEERING GROUP (PROJECT NO. SALEM 2-218-0230) DATED APRIL 6, 2018. 2. THE DESIGN ENGINEER SHALL EXERCISE SUFFICIENT SUPERVISOR CONTROL DURING GRADING AND CONSTRUCTION TO INSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE PLANS, SOILS REPORT, SPECIFICATIONS, AND CODE WITHIN HIS PURVIEW. 3. GRADING WORK WILL BE SUPERVISED AS ENGINEERED GRADING IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPENDIX J OF THE CALIFORNIA BUILDING CODE. 4.
