TYPICAL SEWER LATERAL INSTALLATION
* FOR SHALLOW INSTALLATION OF SEWER LATERALS FROM SHALLOW SEWER MAINS,
THE SEWER LATERALS MUST CROSS OVER THE WATER OR UTILITY TRENCH.
THESE INSTALLATIONS MUST RECEIVE SPECIAL TREATMENT FOR LATERALS WHEN
CROSSING OVER THE WATERMAIN.
A SEWER LATERAL CROSSING ABOVE A WATER MAIN SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF A
CONTINUOUS 20' SECTION OF CLASS 200 (DR 14 PER AWWA C900) PLASTIC
PIPE OR EQUIVALENT, CENTERED ON THE PIPE BEING CROSSED.
NOTE: CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY THAT WATER
