WELDING TOOLS SHALL BE HELD APPROXIMATELY 1/2 INCH (13 MM) FROM AND MOVED BACK AND FORTH OVER THE JUNCTION OF THE TWO MATERIALS TO BE JOINED. THE WELDING TOOL SHALL 13E MOVED SLOWLY ENOUGH AS THE WELD PROGRESSES TO CAUSE A SMALL BEAD OF MOLTEN MATERIAL TO BE VISIBLE ALONG BOTH EDGES AND IN FRONT OF THE WELD STRIP.
